About Kebabs and Chicken Tikka Kebab
Kebab or kebob are small pieces of marinated meat or seafood, that are grilled on skewers with fruits or vegetables. Kebabs originated in the Middle East, but many kebab variations such as malai kebab, shish kebab, and shami kebab have become popular in the rest of the world.
Kebabs are cooked in an open fire or grilled traditionally. You can make these kebabs easily in an oven or an air fryer.
Chicken tikka kebab consists of chicken boneless pieces, marinated in yogurt and spices, and then cooked with mixed peppers and onions. This boneless version of tandoori chicken is popular in India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. It may be cooked and served differently in various parts of India: for example, the Kashmiri version of it is grilled over red-hot coals and may not only contain boneless pieces.

In a bowl, combine all of the ingredients we named in the marinade section together. Toss the chicken pieces into the marinade and make sure all the pieces are evenly coated.
Cover the bowl and put it in the fridge, and allow the Tikka Kebab to rest in the fridge for at least 30 minutes. The more you let it marinate, the more the flavors meld together and infuse into the chicken. Want a deeper flavor? Marinade it overnight or for up to 8 hours.
When the time to cook the marinated Chicken Tikka arrived, remove the bowl from the fridge, and toss the vegetables in the marinade. Thread the chicken and vegetable pieces in the skewers alternating bell pepper, onion, and chicken.
